Pastor Maurice Gaiter is a visionary shepherd, studious teacher, and transformational leader who serves as the senior pastor at the Empowerment Community Church of Chicago. Through his walk, witness, and worship, we see the compassion that he possesses to share the Good News of God being a reliable savior to everyone. His art of storytelling and transparency has captivated audiences’ heart to desire to serve their community and the one true, God.

Pastor Gaiter’s heart to serve the Greater Chicago area through several community campaigns such as feeding initiatives and toy drives that have impacted the homes of families, specifically on the West Side of Chicago, exponentially. He is also the lead facilitator for Iron Sharpens Iron, a group of Chicagoland pastors who meet weekly to encourage stewardship, family values, personal growth, and a continued commitment to Kingdom building. Additional organizations Gaiter is affiliated with the following: Send Network of the North American Mission Board, Black Men United, GMA Construction Group, and World Vision.

Maurice Gaiter is married to his God given wife, Coretta. Together they are nourishing a blended family equipped with game changing adults and promising grandchildren. Gaiter is purposefully involved and committed to the Lord’s assignment for his life. He is ALL IN.
